13:30 Triumph Hurdle

I think this is one of the best Triumph Hurdles in years and there is a strong case to be made for all of the runners.

However, I’ve been so impressed by ALLMANKIND  so I have to go with him.

He's won three from three so far with a big win on this course in November, edging out Botox Has – who I rate very highly.

A dominant nine-length win to secure his first Grade 1 last time out was also impressive and he is so keen, I’m not sure the rest of the pack will be able to cope.

14:10 County Hurdle

The County Hurdle is up next and I really like Nicky Henderson’s ADJALI .

He put in a solid effort in the 4YO juvenile hurdle last April at Aintree behind Pentland Hills and Fakir D’Oudairies and was also third on this course in last year’s Triumph Trial.

Proven over distance and with some course form, he looks a nice each-way bet.

14:50 Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle

I’m going to take Thyme Hill on here and the one who stands out at a big price is RAMSES DE TEILLEE .

David Pipe’s eight-year-old has been so impressive this season having won three from four, including on this course in October.

A Grade 2 win in the Albert Bartlett Prestige Hurdle at Haydock last time out was also very convincing and he has a huge chance.

Keep your eyes on JANIDIL  as well for Willie Mullins.

Three from his last three - with one of those victories ahead of Buildmeupbuttercup - is very nice form.

I think this could be a very good horse so he's worth an each-way bet.

15:30 Gold Cup

It’s the big one – the Gold Cup – and I am all over LOSTINTRANSLATION  here.

He has the best form this season and has done what no other horse could do by beating Bristol De Mai at Haydock.

There is also huge form having finished second to Defi Du Seuil in the JLT last year and then beat Topofthegame at Aintree, who beat Santini and Delta Work in last year’s RSA.

He's a superb jumper and if you just ignore his run in the King George, where he didn’t suit Kempton, I think he’s the one to beat.

16:10 Foxhunters Challenge Cup

I absolutely love DON POLI  and am keen to give him one more go.

He’s regained some form this season, having won twice over point-to-point and does have course form, having won the 2015 RSA and finished third in the 2016 Gold Cup.

Obviously he’s lost a lot of his pace but I’m optimistic he can get a place here.

16:50 Grand Annual Challenge Cup

The Grand Annual is up next and I think LISP  has the best chance in the field.

A very tidy win in at Plumpton in December was followed up by a strong third behind Mister Fisher and Al Dancer at Donaster at the start of the year.

Proven over 2m, I think he can give Alan King a much-needed Festival winner.

I’d also have an each-way bet on veteran GINO TRAIL .

He’s so consistent and finished second in this race to Le Prezien two years ago.

Now under Fergal O’Brien, he managed to get his first win for the yard last time out at Doncaster with a brilliant round of jumping. He’s definitely an each-way player.

17:30 Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle

Finishing off with the Martin Pipe, I’m really keen on COLUMN OF FIRE .

He has some solid form over the last year (232-F13) which includes a huge win at Punchestown and a very respectable third behind Treacyseniscorthy and The Jam Man at Leopardstown in February.

He’s been campaigned perfectly and I think he’ll get the job done.

WIN DOUBLE
