13.30 Marsh Novices' Chase

I’d love to see Faugheen win this but I have to be siding with ITCHY FEET .

Olly Muphy’s six-year-old has won two on the bounce and was so impressive in the Betway Scilly Isles last time out, gifting the trainer his first Grade 1 winner.

He's a superb jumper and conditions should suit, so I think he’s the one to beat.

14.10 Pertemps Handicap Hurdle

The Pertemps is up next and there’s two each-way fancies I like here.

First up is STONEY MOUNTAIN   in the Trevor Hemmings colours, who had a very solid 2019 with two winners and two places from six runs.

It was a pretty underwhelming run last time out over 3m1f, but he was ahead of the likes of Igor and Tedham so that does give me some optimism now he’s dropping back in trip.

I feel I also have to back UNOWHATIMEANHARRY   as he is a huge price.

The 12-year-old has so much course form and did finish ahead of Penhill and Bacardys in a Grade 1 defeat to Apple Jade at Leopardstown.

He obviously carries top weight but I think he has a big chance of placing.

14:50 Ryanair Chase

I’d say MIN   is my NAP here for the Ryanair.

He is another who has ran in multiple Festivals – finishing runner-up behind Altior in the Supreme and Champion Chase – and you have to look at the form of his win in the Melling Chase last year, beating Wednesday’s Champion Chase winner Politologue by 20 lengths.

Finishing second behind Chacun Pour Soi in the Dublin Chase last time out is also a massive form boost, so he’s definitely the one to back.

15:30 Stayers' Hurdle

Not much to say here – PAISLEY PARK   should win this easily.

Last year’s winner is looking for an eighth win on the bounce and has simply dominated the division.

I do think SUMMERVILLE BOY   is the best of the rest having regained some form with a Grade 2 win here over Roksana, William Henry and Janika.

He was also runner-up to Paisley Park in the Cleeve Hurdle and that exactly what I think will happen again. The value bet is in the forecast.

16:10 Festival Plate

SIMPLY THE BETTS   beat Imperial Aura here in January and, given his win on Tuesday, you have to say that is huge form.

He’s won three of his last four with his only defeat coming to Commanche Red on Boxing Day.

A winner over course and distance, he’s a worthy favourite here.

I’ll give an each-way shout to HAPPY DIVA   as well.

She won the BetVictor Gold Cup here in November and is rarely outside the top two.

It was a superb effort when narrowly edged out by Lady Buttons at Doncaster in one of the races of the season. That strong form is boosted by finishing ahead of La Bague Au Roi.

She loves course and distance, and is a nice each-way shout here.

16:50 Mares Novices' Hurdle

The Mares Novices' is up next and MINELLA MELODY  is another favourite that looks tough to beat.

She’s won three on the bounce and has beaten a lot of this field in commanding fashion, including Colreevy and Dolcita.

For me, she’s comfortably the best horse in this race.

17:30 Kim Muir Challenge Cup

Thursday finishes off with the Kim Muir where I have another two each-way fancies.

The first is BOB MAHLER  who has solid form in winning three alongside two places from his last eight, including one on this course.

I think he’s pretty consistent over fences so I’m optimistic he’ll be in the mix.

The other one I like is Venetia Williams’ ONE STYLE .

This is obviously a big step up in class but she has won five on the bounce and not suffered defeat since March 2018.

She's nicely handicapped at 11-2, and I think she can sneak in a place to finish here.
