The racing has been absolutely fantastic over the past two days and we’ve got so many superstars still to see, including Envoi Allen in the Marsh Chase.

I’ve made no secret of how good I think he is and how good he could be. He’s top class. He’s a savage jumper and strong traveller and does what he needs to.

He’ll break your heart because you think you’ve got a chance of going with him and then, within a second, a button will be pushed and he’s away and gone. I hope he delivers yet again.

You know that The Bosses Oscar has been trained for this race all season. His yard are in flying form and, although he seems harshly handicapped for what he’s achieved, they’ve put Jordan Gainford – who has a valuable 7lb claim – on his back.

They know how to win this race and they have a chance of winning another.

It’s an ultra-competitive Ryanair Chase. Melon  has finished runner-up in four different races at the past four Cheltenham Festivals, but he could go one better this year.

He’s been in great form this season and his run in the Savills was very good. This test looks made for him.

I also think Fakir D’oudairies won’t be far away. I’ve always loved him and his jumping ability and think he’ll go well.

Lisnagar Oscar was a shock winner of the Stayers’ Hurdle last year, but I don’t think it’d be a shock if he won it this year.

He loves Cheltenham, he jumps well enough, he stays all day and he ran well at Haydock last time. He’s coming to form at the right time, so I don’t think he’ll be too far away.

The Plate is as competitive as ever, but you just know that, with a £100,000 bonus up for grabs if he wins, The Shunter will not be far away.

He’s mixed it over hurdles and fences this season and was an easy winner of the Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham in November. I think he could still be well handicapped.

The Mares’ Novices’ looks as good a renewal as I can remember. Roseys Hollow really caught my eye when she won last time out, beating a good field.

She won fair and square and can’t see anything that would reverse the form. Mark Walsh rides her, and he sure knows how to ride winners at Cheltenham!

They say the second run after a wind operation is the best time to catch a horse and, if that’s true, Hold The Note for Mick Channon could be the one to keep on side.

He was a good second at Newbury last time behind a smart horse of Paul Nicholls’. He’s also run well at Cheltenham on all three of his starts there to date, and we all know how important course form is.
