With £10,000 up for grabs on day four at the Doncaster St Leger Festival, here are Chad Yeomans' best horse racing tips.

14:25 Doncaster

The Portland Handicap is one of the most popular sprint handicaps in the calendar. Last year, we saw a future Group One winner in Oxted.

I don’t think we’re going to unearth a future superstar this year, as there aren’t many that fit that profile, but I still think it’s going to be a cracking race.

There’s plenty of apparent pace in the race, and, as so often in these big field sprint handicaps, they won’t hang about.

The way the race will be run looks sure to suit ARICEBO  who, while frustrating, has dropped down plenty in the official ratings and is starting to look well-handicapped.

He’ll be switched off early, and will be ridden for luck, but he’s got plenty of ability to win this off his current mark of 93.

Soldier’s Minute will be ridden for luck and his recent second represents as good as any recent form in this race.

He still might be a little high in the handicap, but Justanotherbottle  has more than enough ability to win this five furlong dash on a good day.

15:00 Doncaster

The Park Stakes looks wide open this year with the favourite (at the time of writing) Limato being vulnerable.

He last won this race five years ago and, while he won his only race this year, I feel he’s likely to be beaten by a younger horse with fresher legs.

Trained by Betway ambassador Andrew Balding, SHINE SO BRIGHT  could make the most of this small field and I think he’s actually going to be suited by a step back up to seven furlongs.

This horse has so much natural ability.

He was beaten by just under six lengths in the 2000 Guineas last year and his form when he won at York last summer off a 1lb higher mark was as good as any in this field.

15:35 Doncaster

This year’s renewal of the St Leger is as competitive as I can remember. I’m exciting to see this talented group of three-year-olds go to battle on Town Moor.

Despite all of the buzz around those at the head of the market, I can’t let BERKSHIRE ROCCO  go unbacked. He’s trained by Betway ambassador Andrew Balding, who gave this horse a positive update earlier this week, and I don’t think he should be the price that he is.

He’s not been beaten far in any of his three starts this season. He started off with a narrow defeat at Lingfield in the Derby Trial behind English King, who had the race run to suit, before he was narrowly beaten by Santiago when stepped up to 1m 6f for the first time at Royal Ascot.

Berkshire Rocco didn’t have the rub of the green that day at Ascot, either.

He then had a forced break before making a return at York, where he finished fourth behind Pyledriver over 1m4f.

He ran a good race on his first start for a couple of months and that would have put him spot on for this assignment. The jockey booking of Andrea Atzeni is eye-catching as he is the jockey with most wins at Doncaster in the last five years. 

17:15 Doncaster

The last race on the card is a handicap over 1m 4f that has attracted just five runners.

TORONTO  is on just his third start for his current yard following a move from Aidan O’Brien, and he has already showed a good level of form for his new connections.

He was only narrowly beaten, after travelling very well, at Haydock a little over a week ago and gets a handy weight for age allowance.

He also has Doncaster’s top jockey Andrea Atzeni on board.
