13:05 Ascot – Robasta 7/2
It’s fair to say we haven’t seen the best of Robasta, who is still a maiden after four starts. If you delve into the form book, though, he’s run very well in some strong races with plenty of good form lines coming out of each of his starts.
He seems fairly treated off a mark of 79 and this step up in trip to 6f should eke our further improvement.
13:50 Newmarket – King Frankel (each way) 7/1
King Frankel has been very progressive this season and was not beaten far by Foxes Tales at Royal Ascot. Getting much more weight from that rival, here, he can bridge the gap.
He was a good second at Epsom on his penultimate start and was also a good second in the London Gold Cup at Newbury earlier in the season. He looks to have solid place claims.
14:25 Newmarket – Sandrine 15/8
Sandrine looked very smart when bolting up in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot and I don’t think Hello You will reverse the form with her.
She travelled very well and her trainer, Betway ambassador Andrew Balding, has said in his recent column that she has worked well on faster ground at home, so she should be very hard to beat.
4 to Win selections
14:05 York – Toronto
Dropping down the weights and starting to look dangerously well handicapped now.
14:40 York – Vadream
Ran very well on every start this season and this is much easier.
15:00 Newmarket – Arthurian Fable
Fourth on both of his starts this season and ran well at this fixture last season.
15:35 Newmarket – Alcohol Free
Looks the best of this year’s three-year-olds and can confirm her superiority against her older rivals, too.
