Group 3 action to kick things off with the Fillies and Mares and I’m hoping PRETTY BABY  can get back to her best form.

She had five wins and two seconds from her first seven but really disappointed at Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood.

Having said that, she is proven over 7f and has a victory over Dancing Star who won this race last year. With Ryan Moore back on board, she should have a strong chance.

SAROOG  looks a really nice prospect for Simon Crisford having recorded impressive wins in his last two at Ascot and Newmarket.

The five-year-old has four wins and three seconds from 11 runs so far and should have no issues staying the 1m 6f so looks the one to beat.

I was really impressed with ALLIGATOR ALLEY  at the Ebor Festival so I’m going to keep faith with him in this Group 2.

The Kingman colt has two wins from his last three with his only defeat a runner-up behind the impressive Liberty Beach.

His turn-of-foot was very impressive in the win at York, having been badly hampered at the start, so for that reason I think he’s got the edge over A’ali.

Finishing off with a Class 2 handicap and I’m swaying towards CITRON MAJOR  here.

The four-year-old has hit some decent form this season with hard-fought victories at York and Windsor and was also a notable third behind Dakota Gold in the Great St Wilfrid handicap at Ripon last month.

Really well handicapped at 8-12 and has Rowan Scott’s 3lb claim to bolster his chances, I think he should edge this.
