Berkshire Savvy SP won nicely at Windsor last time out and I was very happy with him on that day.

The track will be no problem for him and, although he’s gone up 2lb for that win and this is a stronger race, he’s going the right way.

Shadn 22/1 ran well in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot on ground that was much too soft for her.

She was a Group 2 winner last year and showed that she had plenty of talent. This is a tough race, but she’ll prefer the quicker ground and I hope she’ll run well.

We run two in the Mile Handicap and that includes stable favourite Zwayyan 16/1, who ran well last time out on his first run of the season.

We’ve been happy with him at home since, but this is a notoriously difficult race to win. It’s always ultra-competitive and this year seems no different.

We also saddle Fox Premier 20/1, who we’ve always thought could be a fair bit better than his mark.

He was disappointing last time out but needed the race more than we had thought. He’s doing everything nicely at home and if he handles the quicker ground, he could run very well.

Alounak 4/1 was slightly disappointing at Newmarket last time but I think the way the race was run just didn’t suit him.

We’re hopeful that he’ll be suited to Goodwood. If he runs a similar race to his second in the Hardwicke at Royal Ascot, then he must have a good chance.

He’s a hardy horse and is proven at this level.
