The Betway ambassador assesses the chances of his three runners on the opening day of Glorious Goodwood.

We run Bell Rock 11/1  in the 1m2f Handicap, and we think that the extra two furlongs will suit him.

He was a good winner on his first start this season at Newmarket, and backed that up quickly with a good run in the Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot.

We’ve freshened him up since then and we’re hopeful he’ll run a good race, but it’s always difficult to win handicaps off a mark of 103. He's up against it on that front, but we have always thought plenty of him.

Youth Spirit 6/1 is another nice two-year-old that we think a lot of.

He ran very well at Haydock on his debut behind Devious Company, who runs in this race too.

He was a good winner at Newmarket last time, but this is a hot contest with lots of improving horses.

Skibo Castle SP makes his debut in the maiden, and I do think he will need the experience.

Goodwood maidens often suit horses with experience and those that have a run under their belt, but I do think this horse will be winning races this year.
