13.50

AL JELLABY has looked impressive for Clive Cox from his five runs so far (33122).

The colt won nicely over 1m at Salisbury in September and was marginally denied by Corrosive at Ascot in May.

I don’t think he’ll have any issues with the distance, so looks a nice bet to start the day - particularly with the insurance provided by our offer of money back up to £10 as a free bet if you lose.

GOD GIVEN was beaten by the finest of margins in the Lancashire Oaks, but I think Luca Cumani’s filly will bounce back here.

Impressive wins over 1m 4f at Newmarket and in a Group 3 at Deauville are the highlights of her career so far, and it will be interesting to see how she handles the extra two furlongs.

Ryan Moore’s booking only increases her chances, and I think looks a solid shout for this Group 2.

Following that trend, I think Ryan Moore could claim another Group 2 in the Richmond Stakes aboard LAND FORCE .

The colt has made a really bright start for Aidan O’Brien with two wins and three thirds from five runs.

He won comfortably at Curragh and Tipperary, and also had a nice third in the Norfolk Stakes last month.

The step back up to 6f looks a good decision and he should take all the beating here.

15.35

This is a tough one to call, but I’m going for VERACIOUS to win on Frankie Dettori’s return from suspension.

The Frankel filly won emphatically at Newmarket last October following a third on debut at Newbury.

She made her return in the Coronation Stakes but, like many of the field, were blown away by Alpha Centauri.

The step up from 7f will be her biggest challenge but having 7lb on Urban Fox could give her a huge advantage.

CUPBOARD LOVE has two tidy victories at Haydock over the past two months and could add another here.

Both wins came on good-to-firm, so conditions should suit, and, with the devastating partnership of Joe Fanning and Mark Johnston, she looks like nice each-way value in this field.

16.10 Goodwood: Cupboard Love

16.45

This is another really tough one to call, but I’m going to take an each-way chance on STELLAR COMET .

She has decent pedigree having been bred by Charm Spirit and the Galileo mare Galatic Heroine, so starting off at 7f is a good chance to assess how classy she really is.

Trained by Johnston and with Moore in the saddle once again, this looks an appealing punt.

17.20

Robert Cowell’s COWBOY SOLDIER looks the best chance of winning the Tatler Handicap.

The colt has two wins and two seconds so far, both of which saw him beaten by a neck.

His victory last time out at Windsor was the most impressive, finishing ahead of the likes of Koditime and Lake Volta.

PJ McDonald already has a big handicap win this week with Under The Covers, and could add another here.

A good each-way shout could be Richard Hughes' JACK TAYLOR .

He’s been really impressive in his last three, with two wins and a runner-up at Brighton, all of which were over 5f.

Hughes enjoyed a lot of success here as a jockey, so let’s see if he can replicate that as a trainer.

17.15 Goodwood: Cowboy Soldier
