12.55 NEWCASTLE

We start off with a tasty Group 3 on the All-Weather.

The one I like here is YAFTA.

Trained by Richard Hannon, the colt has been superb since his debut, with three wins and four seconds from eight trips.

He won the Betway Handicap at Newmarket as top weight of 9-7 in May, and also recorded a big win at Chelmsford last September.

Incredibly consistent and suited to the 6f trip, I think he’s a really nice price at .

13.10 NEWMARKET

Moving over to Newmarket now for another contest over 6f, and I think IMPLUSION  will take all the catching here.

She won in emphatically at Goodwood over this distance on debut, blitzing the field by five lengths on soft ground, so it will be interesting to see how she goes here.

Roger Varian and Andrea Atzeni usually deliver when they team up, and I think they have the best two-year-old in this field.

13.45 NEWMARKET

Next up is another Group 3 in the Betway Criterion Stakes, and I’m going with another from Richard Hannon’s yard: TABARRAK .

The five-year-old has been consistent since his debut in 2015, notching up five wins, five seconds and one third from 14 runs.

He had a nice win over Queen Anne winner Accidental Agent at Newbury last September in a field which also included Dream Of Dreams and Urban Fox.

A win at Haydock over this distance in May was followed up with another big effort in the Betway John Of Gaunt Stakes, and I think that puts him in a great position to challenge here.

14.30 CHESTER

We finish off with this 5f handicap at Chester, where I’m going for TANASOQ .

He’s won three in a row, including a big handicap at Thirsk in May and last time out in the Epsom Dash, where I tipped him at 12/1.

Paul Midgley loves his sprinters, and despite being top weight at 9-12, I still think Kevin Scott can get the job done and complete a four-timer.
