14.30

I’m really struggling to see how FAIRYLAND  won’t take the first race of the day.

The filly is unbeaten with impressive wins at Naas and Curragh, including a 2¼ length victory over stablemate Van Beethoven.

Seamie Heffernan won this race two years ago on Brave Anna and I fancy him to land another Group 3 here.

If the insurance provided by our offers means you want something of more, then I’d go for BYRON BAY  .

She won nicely on debut at Chantilly over 6f and could follow last year’s French winner in Different League.

Considering there’s been shock winners in all of the opening races this week, I’d give her a go.

15.05

Next up, and I think we could have yet another Aidan O’Brien winner in DELANO ROOSEVELT  .

The colt has one win, three seconds and a third from six runs and put in a respectable performance in the Derby despite a tough draw.

He’s handled good, soft and heavy ground well, but is untested over this distance, so will need a big performance from Ryan Moore.

But all the signs would suggest that he's more than capable of handling the step up in trip.

15.40

This is really good race in the Commonwealth Cup and, although Sands Of Mali  came out on top at Haydock, I’m going for INVINCIBLE ARMY  to get the better of him this time.

James Tate’s colt has a superb record with three wins and five seconds from nine races, and is a course-and-distance winner here in the Pavilion Stakes in May.

He’s got great speed and loves the 6f trip, so I’d be keen to back him.

Keep a close eye on SPEAK IN COLOURS  , though.

The colt has two wins and two places so far, including a course-and-distance win here last September.

Now trained under Joseph O’Brien, with his brother Donnacha in the saddle, he could be a nice each-way bet.

16.20

This is a tough one to call, but I’m going to take a punt on David Simcock’s TEPPAL  .

She’s won all three of her outings over 7f so far, with two All-Weather victories then followed up with a big win in the French 1000 Guineas last month.

Olivier Peslier always finds one winner at Royal Ascot, and I think it will come here.

17.00

We've a nice handicap to find some each-way value next, and the first one I like is Godolphin’s DATHANNA  .

She’s won four from a possible seven, including a course-and-distance win here last time out on very soft ground.

It will be a big ask at top weight, but I still think she’s a good punt.

The other one that catches the eye is BROADWAY  .

She was very impressive over the mile at Naas last time out as she powered home by 2½ lengths.

She should have no issues with the distance, and is another that could hold some each-way value.

17.35

I like another two in the last race of the day, the first of which is COUNT CALABASH  .

Eve Johnston Houghton and Charles Bishop have already had success this week with Accidental Agent in the Queen Anne, and should go well here.

The four year-old seems to have found his feet having won his last two, including a handicap win here on Victoria Cup day where he beat the likes of Koeman and Humble Hero.

Nicely handicapped at 9-1, he should go close.

The other one I like is TOP TUG  for Alan King.

He's a seven-year-old with experience over hurdles last year, and has also been involved in big handicaps at York and Doncaster.

He had a nice warm-up at Goodwood last month, finishing second to Platitude, which should set him up nicely and, proven over 1m 3f, he should have an each-way chance.

17.35 Ascot: Count Calabash
