12.20 Group 3 Sprint Stakes (Sandown)

First up, I really fancy HADDAF  to take the opener at Sandown.

He comes into the race in great form having won three from his last four, and has won two of his three races at this course.

A course-and-distance victory here in the Scurry Stakes last month was particularly impressive, beating a field including Koditime, Mokaatil and Sound And Silence.

The three-year-old is nicely handicapped at 8-12 and has James Doyle in the saddle to hopefully guide him to victory.

13.10 – Lancashire Oaks (Haydock)

Next up it’s a Group 2 featuring some really strong fillies. The one I like is Luca Cumani’s GOD GIVEN .

She’s unbeaten here after a four-length victory in a Maiden Stakes last year and most recently in the Betway Pinnacle stakes last month.

Jamie Spencer has two wins from a possible three on board and, proven in these conditions, I think she’s the one to beat here.

14:10 – Eclipse (Sandown)

It’s the big one next. We have a fantastic battle in store here between the winners of the 2000 Guineas, Dante Stakes and The Derby.

It’s a tough one to call, but I think MASAR  will come out on top again here for Charlie Appleby.

He was superb when winning the Derby, giving Godolphin their first victory in that race, and also had a respectable third in the 2000 Guineas.

A nine-length victory over Roaring Lion in the Craven Stakes also sits nicely on his CV, while he has a victory on this course from the Solario Stakes last year, too.

It’s tough to see him getting beaten here.

14:45 Class 3 Handicap (Sandown)

The final tip also comes from Sandown, and I like MANTHOOR  to take this 7f handicap.

The colt finally broke his duck last time out with a big win at Lingfield, following three seconds from his previous four.

He’s proven over this distance and has gone well on good-firm and good-soft, so I think he’s worth a bet here.
