The amount of rain that we've seen this week should suit the favourite SUNDAY SOVEREIGN  nicely.

Two dominant victories at The Curragh and Tipperary by a combined 10 lengths is strong form for this colt and he should love conditions at Ascot.

However, if you want to take a chance on something at bigger price with Betway's first race offer, then I'd go for VENTURA REBEL  .

Richard Fahey's colt is two from two and was a shock winner here last time out as a 20/1 shot when he upset Wesley Ward's Lady Pauline.

With course form and proven over this distance, he's definitely worth an each-way bet.

This Hampton Court is a tough one to call, but there are two that have caught my eye.

My main fancy is ROSEMAN  who can hopefully open Andrea Atzeni's account for the week.

He's made a steady start (312) with a dominant victory at Nottingham and a respectable second behind St James's Palace runner-up King Of Comedy. That's strong form so I think he's got a big shout here.

The other one I like is SANGARIUS  , who got off to the perfect start last season with victories at Newmarket and Doncaster before finishing fourth in the Dewhurst behind the likes of Too Darn Hot and Derby winner Anthony Van Dyck.

He finished third behind ROSEMAN   in the same race at Sandown so could well be worth an each-way bet.

It's the battle of the fillies next, where I'm predicting a fourth win in six years for Aidan O'Brien with FLEETING  .

She simply didn't get going in the 1000 Guineas in her first outing this season but finished really strongly to snatch third in the Epsom Oaks behind Anapurna and Pink Dogwood.

Ryan Moore is leading the way this week and is looking to win this race for the third time in four years.

STRADIVARIUS  is a relentless winner and should become the first horse since Yeats to retain the Gold Cup.

This is his toughest test thus far with a much stronger field than 12 months ago, but he loves it around here and should go well on any ground as he looks to make it seven in a row.

I would keep your eye on French raider CALLED TO THE BAR  who has recorded five wins and six placed finishes from 12 trips.

He has two wins so far this year and was mightily impressive last time out at Longchamp when powering home by three lengths in Group 2 action.

I don't think the ground will be a concern and, as one of the most impressive stayers in France, he holds some each-way value here.

I picked the winner of this race last year in Ostilio so here's hoping I can repeat the trick.

The main one that sticks out is BEATBOXER  . He's claimed three wins from five so far and caught the eye as a 20/1 winner in the Silver Bowl at Haydock last month. Proven over a mile and with a nice draw, he should be right in the mix.

AWE  is another for William Haggas that looks to be a real prospect having recorded two wins and two seconds from six starts.

He didn't run badly when eighth behind the aforementioned BEATBOXER   at Haydock and was a tidy winner at Newmarket at the start of the month. The colt has a good chance of placing.

The final each-way fancy is DARK VISION  . There were huge things expected from this three-year-old last season as he won his first three before being snapped up by Godolphin.

A very flat run in the Dewhurst was a disappointing end to the season but he has since finished third behind Bye Bye Hong Kong at Chelmsford and fourth behind King Of Comedy, Roseman and Sangarius at Sandown.

Jamie Spencer has a great record in this race having won on Defrocked (2016) and Bless Him (2017), so hopefully he can produce another big performance here.

We finish off with the King George V and, although the Doyle-Haggas combination let me down on the Wednesday, I trust them to come good with SINJAARI  .

He really impressed with his victory at Windsor after beating a field of 15 by over two lengths, and was only beaten a short head by Headman in the London Gold Cup last time out. I think he's the one to beat in this field.

A good each-way shout could be Aidan O'Brien's SOUTH PACIFIC  .

His victory at Naas over Barbados reads as strong form after the same horse finished second to Dashing Willoughby in the Queen's Vase. I'm a huge fan of Seamie Heffernan and think he's got a strong chance of placing.
