In a really open field for the Queen Anne I'm going to keep faith with the super filly LAURENS .

She's won plenty of Group 1s over a mile with last season's victory over odds-on favourite Alpha Centauri in the Matron the standout.

I'm not concerned about her run here on Champions Day as I think a long season had taken its toll. She's had a decent preparation with a nice second behind Mustashry in the Lockinge and I think she'll go close.

Don't forget you get your money back as a free bet up to £10 if you lose on this race with Betway so, if you want a bigger gamble, then I'd take a punt on ROMANISED  .

The colt was a shock 20/1 winner in last year's Irish 2000 Guineas and also ran well enough to finish fourth in the Lockinge. He should relish the conditions and this looks a big price.

The one that sticks out in the battle of the two-year-olds is Richard Hannon's THREAT  .

He really caught the eye on debut after powering home by two lengths ahead of the well-fancied Electric Storm for Godolphin.

There's a huge buzz around this colt and I'm expecting big things here.

I really struggle to get BATTAASH  right, but he was so impressive in the Temple Stakes at Haydock last time out that I have to back him here.

He eased to victory 2½ lengths ahead of Alpha Delphini and Mabs Cross in that race, which was the perfect response after a really disappointing run in the Prix de L'Abbaye.

I think Jim Crowley will have learned a lot after he seemed to go too early in last year's defeat to Blue Point, so he's definitely the one I'd go for.

16:20

Many think this is a battle between the top two in the market, but I'm going to take an each-way chance on French raider SHAMAN  .

He's been in fine form this year (112) with his sole defeat to Persian King in Group 1 company at Longchamp in May.

Proven over 7f and in the famous colours of Solow, hopefully Maxime Guyon can produce some more Ascot magic.

COEUR DE LION  finished sixth in this race last year and I think he's a huge contender this time around.

Alan King's versatile six-year-old comes into the race in decent form, finishing second over this distance at Newbury ahead of Who Dares Wins and The Cashel Man before cruising home by five lengths at Chester last time out.

Previous experience in the Martin Pipe and an appearance in last year's Cesarewitch proves that stamina won't be an issue so I'm hoping he'll go well.

17:35

We finish with the Wolferton Stakes where I think Joseph O'Brien's LATROBE  looks a nice each-way bet.

He was slightly disappointing in his previous two defeats to the superb Magical but last year's Irish Derby triumph ahead of Rostropovich and Saxon Warrior is still huge form going into a Listed race.

Donnacha O'Brien has a good record on board (2211-234) and should be in with a chance of at least placing.
