AYR

13:15

King D’argent  should take all of the beating in the first. He’s won three of his last four and is now on a hat-trick having bolted up on his last two starts. He won’t mind the quicker ground and the Skeltons are flying, too!

14:25

Thyme White  has run much better than what his form suggests. He was ninth in the County Hurdle last time out and stayed on well up the hill. He’s a nice horse and this looks a winnable opportunity for him.

15:00

Allmankind   only has three rivals to take on and although he was well beaten in the Arkle, this is much easier. He’s relatively straight forward in the sense you can just let him go on and I think that’s what they’ll do. If he gets around, he’s the one to beat.

15:35

Enqarde  is at the right end of the handicap in the Scottish Grand National and is one I don’t think we’ve seen the best of yet. He sluiced up at Ascot in January and ran okay on his next start at Haydock. He’s been freshened up since and this race may have been the long-term target for him.

Aye Right  deserves a big one after his gallant runs this season. He’s been ultra-consistent this season and he’s taken his stable to the biggest fixtures. He was staying on well in the Ultima at Cheltenham last time out and will like this kind of stamina test.

He must be a dream to train, and it would be a huge success for his yard if they were to win the Scottish Grand National.

17:20

Drumbear  was a good winner in Ireland las time out and although this looks a good, deep race, he looked very good on his debut and could be a smart one.

This race has been won by some very good horses in the past, so it’s always a race worth watching.

TRAMORE

13:30

Gelee Blanche was only just run out of it last time over 2m3f and he’s dropped back to 2m. She’s got some good placed form to her name.

Brian Hayes takes the ride for Willie Mullins and the pair should be tough to beat.

15:48

Dad runs Batcio  with Brian Hayes up top. He was third at Navan last time out and if he ran to that form again, he’ll go close. He’s won on good ground before too.
