Naas On Sunday

The Grade 3 Chase (14:00) is a competitive little contest but, on ratings, it looks to be a two-horse race.

Cilaos Emery  is the highest-rated horse but has his quirks.

Daly Tiger , however, is much-improved this season, winning two big pots for his connections. You’d have to question whether a small-field, two-mile race would suit him, but he’s got plenty of ability.

It’ll be a good race between the two of them.

School Boy Hours is interesting in the Grade B Novices’ Handicap Chase (14:30).

He’s been a big eye-catcher on his three starts this season, finishing behind some Graded horses who will all likely be in action at Cheltenham. He’s rated 135 and his connection may have found a nice race for him.

If Echoes In Rain isn’t as keen as she was last time, then she could be the one to beat.

She didn’t do herself any favours, but that race was stronger than this and she gets weight from all her rivals in the 15:00, which will help.

I don’t think they will be big prices, but Willie Mullins should be winning the next two races.

He has Egality Mans in the 16:00, who was a good second to Assemble last year.

He follows that with Micro Manage in the 16:30, who was third on his only start for Willie.

It would be good to see Aarons Day  win for Oliver McKiernan in the 17:00.

He was badly carried right at the start of his latest run and was given no chance, but somehow managed to finish second. He should have been put up more than 4lb for that effort, so he could still be well-in.

Ross [O’Sullivan] runs Bythesametoken in the same race and we’d be hopeful that he could run into a place. It’s his first run back after a little break but is at the right end of the handicap and, if things fell right for him, he could give young Conor Orr a good spin.

The bumper (17:30) is a cracker of a race, but I think you’d have to side with Gerri Colombe .

He bolted up by 24 lengths on debut, which may not have been a surprise to some. He was highly thought of and a win here should see him join Sir Gerhard and Three Stripe Life on the boat to Cheltenham for Gordon.
