14:10 NEWMARKET

This Fillies’ Handicap is over 1m 2f and will be run on soft ground at Newmarket.

Be More  will relish the underfoot conditions for Betway ambassador Andrew Balding and Oisin Murphy. She’s three from three when the ground is officially soft.

Moll Davis  hasn’t been seen for 113 days, but that is totally by design as she is believed to be a little better with cut in the ground.

She was progressing nicely and this strong-travelling filly will no doubt be there at the thick of it if she’s fully fit on her first start back.

14:45 NEWMARKET

The highlight on the card at Newmarket is the Group 1 Sun Chariot Stakes. As ever, it’s a mouth-watering race with plenty of the best fillies and mares lining up.

I’m a big fan of Peaceful , who I’m convinced we haven’t seen the best of yet. She was very smart as a two-year-old, despite not being asked too many questions.

She had the ability to win the Irish 1000 Guineas on her first start this campaign and was subsequently beaten by only a neck in the Irish Oaks, and just over a length in the Matron Stakes.

I think she’ll be held on to a little longer by Ryan Moore, who comes over to Newmarket for the ride. I think she’ll be very tough to beat, especially with a 3lb weight allowance.

15:05 ASCOT

The Challenge Cup will no doubt be a typical cavalry charge down Ascot’s straight 7f.

The race is as competitive as you would expect and includes the last two winners.

Last year’s victor Kynren  has to be high up on the list. He gets his favoured soft ground and the 5lb higher he is in this year's race will be negated by William Carver’s useful 5lb claim.

He’s definitely been campaigned for this race – he will be primed and ready and I cannot see him out of the placings.

Charlie Fellowes has had a superb season and I expect his King Ottokar  to go close enough to give him another reason to celebrate.

He’s talented but things haven’t quite gone his way this season. Now off a mark of 100, he is starting to look well handicapped and with conditions set to suit, I do think he’ll run a massive race.

15:25 REDCAR

Redcar hosts a superb card with the Two Year Old Trophy one of the highlights.

Shark Two One  was a good winner of a big sales race in Ireland last time out and has experience in a big field, which will be of huge benefit.

He was second in a hot four-runner race on soft ground at Newmarket on his second start, so you’d think he’ll handle the conditions.

Uncle Jumbo  has chased a few big pots already this season and ran with credit each time - this is arguably weaker.

We’ll soon learn whether he’ll go on the ground but he is related to plenty of horses who’ve won in such conditions.

At a bigger price, soft-ground winner Ey Up It’s Maggie  can run a big race under Cam Hardie.
