Our tipster reveals his best horse racing tips for York and Newmarket on Saturday.

14:35 YORK

I tipped ILARAAB  a few weeks ago when he won at Newbury and think the colt has a great chance to extend his winning run here.

He’s really progressed since his debut winning four on the bounce and looks well suited to the 1m 2f trip.

Danny Tudhope takes the ride this time and will hopefully be the fifth different jockey to win on board.

14:55 NEWMARKET

This is a really competitive Dewhurst this year and there’s a case to be made for a lot of the field, but I really like the look of Irish raider THUNDER MOON .

He looked a real hot prospect after smashing the field at Curragh on debut by just under four lengths

The colt followed that up with Group 1 success in the Vincent O’Brien National Stakes – well clear of the likes of Wembley, Master Of The Seas and Lucky Vega.

That’s very strong form and is the one to beat in my eyes.

15:35 NEWMARKET

The Cesarewitch is one of my favourite handicaps in the flat season so I’m going for two each-way fancies.

ROCK EAGLE  looks a nice five-year-old of Ralph Beckett and has been lightly raced since Racing restarted in June with a runner-up behind The Trader on this course and then third behind Trueshan and Withhold – winner of this race in 2017.

Good course form and shouldn’t have any stamina issues, I hope he’ll be in the mix.

The other who I think is overpriced here is Gavin Cromwell’s WHIRLING DERVISH .

An eye-catching performance as a 20/1 winner at Kilbeggan over 2m in August and also had a runner-up on the same course and distance.

Slightly disappointing last time out but he does tick a lot of boxes in recent winners’ trends including proven over 2m, handles this ground and without a run in past 50 days. He could sneak in the places.
