13:50 NEWMARKET

EASTERN WORLD   won nicely over course-and-distance last time out and I think he’s the one to watch in this field.

The colt has made an impressive start with two seconds to Starcat and King Leonidas – both of which ran at Royal Ascot – and then sailed home by two lengths last time out.

Having 4lbs on Finest Sound should give him that extra advantage.

15:00 NEWMARKET

Group 2 action in the Superlative Stakes next, where I’m going for another in the Godolphin blue with MASTER OF THE SEAS  .

A pretty emphatic winner over C&D on debut having finished just under a length ahead of William Bligh, who since won emphatically at Haydock last week.

I think that’s a nice form boost and should be a double on the day for William Buick and Charlie Appleby.

15:15 ASCOT

Across to Ascot now for another Group 2 in the Summer Mile where I’m keeping my faith with MARIE'S DIAMOND  .

An emphatic front-running display at Newmarket was followed up with a huge run in the Queen Anne where he finished third as a 40/1 shot.

I think if Joe Fanning can get this colt out in front early again then he’ll be tough to catch.

15:35 NEWMARKET

I tipped GOLDEN HORDE   in the Commonwealth Cup and think he’ll add another Group 1 here in the July Cup.

Adam Kirby gave him a brilliant ride that day and he really powered home in a very strong field.

He also has two runner-up spots behind Earthlight on his CV which is incredibly strong form so he’s definitely the one to beat.

I have been very impressed with OXTED  , though, and think he could sneak amongst the places.

He looked very good here last time out in the Betway Abernant Stakes and is improving, so I’m optimistic he’ll run well at a big price.
