Our tipster reveals his best horse racing tips for Newmarket and Newbury on Saturday.
14:05 NEWMARKET
We begin with a nice and open Betway-sponsored handicap, where I like the look of NIGHT BEAR 4/1.
He comes into the race with good form since the restart (312) – the most recent of which was a really strong effort behind Revolver, who recorded his sixth win in a row on Friday afternoon.
That’s a nice form boost, so I fancy this colt’s chances.
14:25 NEWBURY
JAHBATH 5/1 struggled on his reappearance last month but would have needed the run after 15 months off.
His form before that was pretty emphatic (211-110), with the one poor run during that sequence coming in a Group 2 at Meydan.
Proven over the 1m, I think he can get back to winning ways here.
14:40 NEWMARKET
We’ve another tough Betway handicap next, but I’m siding towards BLACK CASPIAN 11/2.
He boasts just one win from six starts, but his three runs since racing resumed in June have shown a lot of promise and I’m hoping he can continue that run.
Kevin Stott has been in scintillating form as well this season, and that can only increase his chances.
15:00 NEWBURY
We finish with the Geoffrey Freer, where I think HUKUM 11/2 looks set to build on his two impressive wins.
A smart winner on the All-Weather in November last year was followed up with a brilliant win in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot.
He beat a strong field that day which included Subjectivist, who has since won at Hamilton and finished third in the Group 3 Gordon Stakes.
I think he’ll complete the hat-trick here.
