14:05 NEWMARKET

I’ve been very impressed with BOCCACCIO  in his first two starts and think he’ll continue he’s unbeaten run in this Betway handicap.

The Dubawi colt has eased to victory in his first two starts and really stretched his legs and won by just under four lengths at Kempton last time out.

He does carry more weight than most of the field, but I think he’s too good for them.

14:45 NEWCASTLE

It's a very open handicap here, as they contest the 5f. I’m swaying towards Philip Makin’s LAHORE  .

He was a very nice winner at Doncaster last time out and was over a length ahead of Jabbarockie, who came into that race in very strong form.

Ben Curtis has been in magnificent form this week and has a great chance to pick up another winner here.

15:00 NEWCASTLE

I actually thought ALOE VERA  had a nice outside chance at Royal Ascot last week, so I’m going to keep faith with the filly here.

She has won two from two, with impressive displays at Chepstow and Goodwood and already tasted success at Listed level.

Proven over this distance, I think she’ll remain unbeaten and take this Group 3 prize.

15:15 NEWMARKET

The Betway Fairway Stakes is up next and I think Mark Johnston has a very nice horse in THUNDEROUS  .

The colt has won all three starts including the Denford Stakes last time out where he finished well ahead of King Edward VII Stakes winner Pyledriver.

I don’t think he’ll struggle with the step up to 1m 2f and Ryan Moore’s mount only betters his chances.

19:15 CURRAGH

We finish with the Irish Derby and having been massively impressed last week, I think SANTIAGO  will take all the beating.

He really hit another gear in the Queen’s Vase and absolutely flew home by just under three lengths to Berkshire Rocco.

Seamie Heffernan takes the mount for the first time and should give Aidan O’Brien his 14th triumph in the race.
