Our tipster reveals his best horse racing tips for Down Royal, Wetherby and Ascot on Saturday.

14:25 DOWN ROYAL

I’m very excited that PRESENTING PERCY   has moved to Gordon Elliot’s yard and think he can get back to Grade 1 winning days here.

We’ve really not seen the best of him since his dominating display in the 2019 RSA Chase after two disappointing Gold Cup attempts.

However, there were some signs that he’s still got a lot of fight in him from his third in the Irish Gold Cup in February and I’m hoping for a big run on debut for Elliot.

14:45 WETHERBY

It's a nice competitive Grade 2 next, which sees Stayers’ Hurdle winner Lisnagar Oscar return but it’s another long-awaited return in NEXT DESTINATION  that’s got me excited.

Paul Nicholls' eight-year-old was looking like an absolute star, having won five out of eight, and also finished third behind Samcro in the 2018 Ballymore.

He’s a Grade 1 winner over 3m but hasn’t raced for 900+ days, so this is a huge ask. But given Nicholls’ incredible start to the season, I’m optimistic he can spring a surprise.

15:20 WETHERBY

This is a really tough race to call in the Charlie Hall Chase but I’m getting very fond of Kim Bailey's VINNDICATION  and think he’s the one to beat here.

He had some great performances last year, including a run behind Defi Du Seuil and Lostintranslation in the Scilly Isles and a solid win in the Sodexo Gold Cup as Ascot.

His only run this calendar year was a fourth in the Ultima in a very strong field. His jumping’s improving and think he could land the big prize here.

15:40 ASCOT

We're finishing off with the Sodexo Gold Cup and I think Paul Nicholls could have another big win here with BLACK CORTON .

The nine-year-old was third in this race last year and almost looked back to his best last time out with a narrow second behind Mister Malarky in the Betway Handicap Chase at Kempton in February.

He's been a great servant for the yard with 13 wins and 10 seconds from 31 runs and, with Bryony Frost on board, should be right up there.

I’d also keep an eye on WALK IN THE MILL  for an each-way bet.

He won the Becher Chase brilliantly for consecutive years last December and followed that up with a runner-up behind Blackjack Kentucky at Chepstow.

He was very much one of my fancies for the Grand National last year and is proven over course-and-distance, so looks a nice each-way chance.
