Our tipster reveals his best horse racing tips for Haydock, Kempton and Ascot on Saturday.
13:45 HAYDOCK
KHALOOSY has some very strong form this season after his triumph in the Britannia Stakes but wasn’t quite at his best when third in Group 3 action at Goodwood in July.
He is perfect for the mile trip and has the advantage of being a three-year-old in this field, so I think he’s the one to beat.
14:00 KEMPTON
MIGHTY GURKHA hasn’t won since his debut at Lingfield but I’m optimistic he can get back to winning ways here.
The colt wasn’t too far behind Method in Listed action at Newbury in July, but really disappointed in Group 3 action in France last time out.
AJ McNamara takes the ride for the first time and is a jockey I’m very fond of, so I’m hoping he can deliver the win.
15:05 ASCOT
We move across to Ascot for a competitive handicap now, and the one who has caught my eye is GRAND BAZAAR .
John Gosden’s colt has been in fine form since the restart of racing (2112) and was only just denied on this course last time out against Shandoz.
He’ll have no issues with the trip and looks a nice price.
15:25 HAYDOCK
We finish off in Group 1 company for the Sprint Cup and I think LOPE Y FERNANDEZ will finally get that long-awaited win.
He’s got some nice form this season, including third in the Irish 2000 Guineas, and his last two performances in France have really caught the eye, finishing behind Pinatubo and third to Space Blues.
I think he’s better suited to 6f and think Ryan Moore can steer him to his first victory since last August.
WIN DOUBLE
