Our tipster reveals his best horse racing tips for Doncaster, Aintree and Wincanton on Saturday.

13:30 DONCASTER

Given his performance in the Champion Sprint last month, I think BRANDO   is a great price to land the Wentworth here.

He put in an almighty performance that day and lost out the Glen Shiel in a photo finish as an 80/1 shot.

Although he was well behind Dakota Gold  at York in Group 3 action, he does have five lbs off him and that should go well in his favour.

14:05 DONCASTER

We're keeping with the flat action with this Listed fillies’ stakes where I’m confident Mark Johnston’s FREYJA  should get the job done.

He has shown solid form over the past two months (1311) and was very impressive winning the Seymour Stakes last weekend ahead of Air Pilot and Marie’s Diamond – who finished third in the Queen Anne.

That’s a strong form boost and with Ben Curtis in the saddle she’ll be tough to beat.

14:40 AINTREE

This is a very competitive hurdle over 2m 4f, but I’m siding with CALL ME LORD to get a first win since December 2019.

This consistent seven-year-old was last seen with a bit of a flat performance in the Champion Hurdle but I think that proves he needs a longer trip.

In his last performance over this distance, he was a narrow second to If The Cap Fits in Grade 2 Ascot Hurdle and I’m optimistic he can go one better Saturday.

15:00 WINCANTON

SCEAU ROYAL  could potentially be better suited over fences but you could not help but be impressed by his win in the Welsh Champion Hurdle last month.

He really stayed on strongly and beat Ballyandy by just under three lengths that day and is the worthy favourite in this field.

These colours were successful here last year for Simon Munir as Fusil Raffles took the prize and I think he’ll have the winner again.

WIN DOUBLE
