Our tipster reveals his best horse racing tips for Ascot and Newmarket on Saturday.

13:50 ASCOT

This is a nice open handicap to kick things off and the one who’s caught my eye is THEOTHERSIDE  .

She looks a nice filly for Richard Hannon and has been in great form since her debut last September (1-3121).

She was a nice winner at Newmarket last time out ahead of Will To Win and Hamish Macbeth, who she faces again here.

Proven over the 6f and nicely handicapped, I think she’s the one to beat.

15:00 ASCOT

AUSTRALIS   looks a nice prospect for Roger Varian and should take the beating here.

Form from his last five runs is very strong (212-12), with that second last time out in the Northumberland Plate.

He’s got decent form on the AW and turf, so I think he’s a worthy favourite in this field.

15:20 NEWMARKET

The Betway Sweet Solera Stakes is up next and I’m sticking with the Roger Varian trend and siding with SETARHE .

She earned a very impressive win here on debut, and powered home to finish behind Dandalla at Royal Ascot – who’s an unbeaten Group 2 winner – despite not getting the best ride.

She was a little disappointing last time out but was right up there with Dubai Fountain and I think she’ll get back to winning ways here.

15:35 ASCOT

We finish off with another wide-open handicap and I like the look of OMNIVEGA   for David Simcock.

He’s won all three on the AW this year in commanding style and the 1m 4f trip seems to really suit.

I’m hoping he can transfer that form onto the turf but being bottom weight and having Hayley Turner in the saddle only strengthens his chances.
