MAGIC OF LIGHT   won this race last year and I think she’ll do so again.

Jessica Harrington’s versatile nine-year-old finished a runner-up behind Tiger Roll in the Grand National last season as a 66/1 shot, and also had a decent effort in the Lismullen Hurdle behind Bacardys and Apple’s Jade.

She got back to winning ways over fences in Listed action last time out as she eased to victory, and is nicely prepped for this race.

I’m a big fan of BOLD PLAN   and think he’s got a great chance in this race.

A tidy victory at Haydock last time out reads some nice form, as the field included the likes of Whoshotthesheriff, Irish Roe and Kateson.

He's proven over this distance and, with highly-rated Adam Wedge in the saddle, I think he’s the one to beat.

14:40 HAYDOCK

Over to Haydock for the Peter Marsh now and the one who is sticking out to me is GERONIMO .

The nine-year-old has three wins, five seconds and one third from 10 runs, and won two from a possible three in 2019.

He’s nicely handicapped and has former Grand National-winning jockey Ryan Mania on board, so he should be up there.

15:00 ASCOT

Finishing off in the same race where Cyrname really announced himself to the world last year, and I think HAPPY DIVA   is the one to stand out on Saturday.

I’ve been nothing but impressed with this mare all season after her win in the BetVictor Gold Cup, while her loss by the barest of margins to Lady Buttons last time out was one of the most exciting races this term.

She's proven over course and distance and has been in the top two 18 times from her last 20 runs, excluding falls or an unseated rider, so I think she’s the best bet here.

WIN DOUBLE
