I’m going for some each-way fancies on a very tough Saturday of racing, starting with the opener at Ascot, where I think WATCHABLE   is a massive price.

His form in 2019 has been superb with three wins and two placed-finishes from eight.

He was disappointing here in the Wokingham when 12th but is proven over the 5f and has Joe Fanning back on board to hopefully grab a big place.

There is another sprint up next in Listed action at York, and I think FINAL VENTURE   looks a nice bet.

He’s had three successive seconds so far this year, but was only a length behind Epsom Dash winner Ornate last time out.

Paul Midgley is usually very successful with horses over 5f so I’d take a chance on him here.

15:30 NEWMARKET

The Bunbury Cup is up next and I’m going for LAKE VOLTA .

He has had some tidy victories at Yarmouth and Goodwood this year, and holds decent form. He has experience in these fields having ran in the Victoria Cup and the Wokingham.

He is top weight at 9-8 but Ryan Moore’s booking is a huge boost so he can hopefully grab a place.

We finish off with the Diamond Jubilee Cup and I’m quite keen on Jedd O’Keeffe’s JAZEEL .

Following a successful jumps career, the four-year-old has made a great start to life on the flat following two seconds and a win last time out at Sandown.

He was only a length behind favourite Mountain Angle at Epsom on Oaks day and is comfortable over this distance.

I’m a huge fan of young Sean Davis and the fact he’s in the saddle should only enhance his chances.
