13:45 York - La Trinidad (each-way) 10/1
Despite the winning margin only being a neck last time, La Trinidad did do it in good style and won with more in hand than that margin suggests.
The Roger Fell-trained four-year-old always runs well on the Knavesmire and, dropped back to 1m, I expect this strong-travelling gelding to be the last off the bridle and to pick up place money at the very least.
15:35 Ascot - Significantly (each-way) 11/2
Significantly was really highly tried as a two-year-old and ran against some of the fastest juveniles last season, however it took him until October to shed his maiden tag.
This season, he’s run against plenty of the countries top sprinters, many of whom are running in the July Cup on Saturday. He faces a drop in class against these rivals, and he could and should just be too good for them.
4 To Win selections
13:45 York - La Trinidad 10/1
Won well at York last time and this drop in trip won’t phase him.
15:50 Newmarket - Symbolize 11/1
Has improved this season and ran better than his finishing position suggests last time. He’s drawn well, too.
16:05 York - Surrey Pride 15/2
Good winner of a competitive race last time and conditions look set to suit him.
16:25 Newmarket - Rohaan 7/1
Has just kept improving this season and was very good in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot.
