2.20 – Cheveley Park Stakes (Newmarket)

The filly I like here is Mark Johnston’s THREADING  .

She’s unbeaten so far after commanding wins in her first two – sailing home by six lengths on debut at Goodwood followed by an assertive win in the Lowther Stakes at York.

James Doyle is in sensational form and I think he’ll get the job done here.

2.40 – 5f Handicap (Haydock)

BOUNDSY  has been in great form lately (221-21) and is proven over the 5f trip.

He’s really well-handicapped at 8-11 and, with Sammy Jo Bell’s 3lb claim, he’s definitely got the edge over the likes of Soie D’leau and Quench Dolly  .

I tipped him when he won last time out at Chester and I’m going to keep my faith with him here.

2.55 – Middle Park Stakes (Newmarket)

There's a decent case to be made for a lot of this field but the one I’m going for is Aidan O’Brien’s SIOUX NATION  .

As winner of both the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes he has beaten a lot of this field already, including Beckford  and Cardsharp  .

Three wins and two-placed finishes from six is just as good form as a lot in this race and, with trusted Ryan Moore on board, I think he’s the one to beat.

3.35 – Cambridgeshire Handicap (Newmarket)

This is the biggest race of the day and, with Betway offering SIX places, I’ve picked out two each-way fancies to hopefully get some profit.

The first one is Godolphin’s LINGUISTIC , a four-year-old who has one win and five runner-up finishes from seven rides.

He had a decent run last time out when beaten by a neck at Kempton following a ten-month break and, with one win and two seconds from three runs on this course, he has a good chance.

The other one I like is William Haggas’ NOVOMAN  .

This three-year-old has really impressed in his last two runs – winning at York by four lengths and then at Goodwood by one.

Really well-handicapped at 8-8 and with Georgia Cox bringing her 5lb claim on board, he looks a great each-way chance.

Betway are paying a generous SIX places in the 3.35 Cambridgeshire Handicap at Newmarket.

4.25 – Novice Stakes (Haydock)

For my final tip of the day I can’t see past Richard Fahey’s NARCOS  .

He was a really impressive 9/1 winner on debut at Doncaster where he powered home by 1¼ lengths and for that reason he holds top weight.

I’ve not seen anything from the rest of the field on their debuts that compares and, with stable jockey Tony Hamilton on board, I’m sure he’ll get the job done.
