I'm backing I K BRUNEL here.

He has two wins from four so far and ran a respectable third here behind Elixir De Nutz and Jarveys Plate.

He achieved a very impressive six-length win last time out, so I’m hoping for more of the same.

12:40

It's a tough one next, but I really like the look of BOTOX HAS .

He was an emphatic winner on debut for the Moores, sailing home by 18 lengths at Fontwell.

He beat Prefontaine that day, who has since won at Kempton last month, so that is a nice form boost.

Connections had a huge victory at this meeting last year with Baron Alco, and could taste more success here.

13:15

This is a tough Novice Chase to call, but I'm keeping faith with WHOLESTONE .

He absolutely loves Cheltenham and was only beaten by a neck to Mulcahys Hill last month, so I think he’ll be too strong for the rest here.

Keep your eyes on outsider AARON LAD  though, who is on debut over fences.

He's another with a good record on this course and I think Dr Newland could have some big plans for him.

13:50

Grade 3 action up next, where I'm going to take a punt on POP ROCKSTAR .

He’s two from two this year with victories at Chepstow and Carlisle, and had Jonjo O'Neill Jr to get the job done last time out.

Conditions do worry me a little, but he is really well-handicapped at 10-11, so I’m optimistic he'll be up there.

14:25

I tipped Baron Alco in this last year, and I’m hoping for another winner this time around courtesy of US AND THEM .

He's been in some decent form this year with a runner-up behind Le Richbourg in Grade 1 action at Leopardstown and was also second in the Arkle here at the Festival.

He'll have no issues with the trip and has JJ Slevin on board, who I rate very highly.

Don't rule out GUITAR PETE   as an each-way bet, though.

He was third in this race last year and was also third in the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup last December.

He got back to winning ways last time out at Wetherby, finishing over three lengths ahead of Happy Diva, so he's worth an each-way bet.

15:00

I like another Olly Murphy runner here in THE BUTCHER SAID .

His form in 2019 is phenomenal (211112) and he put up a really good fight last time out when behind Ramses De Teillee.

I think he'll relish the soft conditions and shouldn’t have any issues with the trip so this looks a nice price in this field.

15:30

A really open handicap in the next, but the one who is sticking out to me is Rebecca Curtis' LEGENDS GOLD .

The mare has won her last three in commanding style and is proven over 2m5f.

She has weight allowance on the top few in the market which gives her a nice advantage.

16:00

We'll finish off with the bumper, where I’m going for IT’S PROBABLY ME .

The filly won nicely on debut at Southwell as a 16/1 shot and was only three lengths behind Vegas Blue at Bangor in May.

She's won over 2m and has Richard Johnson on board, so looks the best chance to tackle the favourite Midnight Callisto.

WIN DOUBLE
