Our tipster reveals his best bets for a busy day of racing at Chepstow, York and Newmarket as well as an each-way lucky 15.

15:20 CHEPSTOW

We begin with some jumps action in the Native River Chase, where I think LIL ROCKERFELLER SP could come good as he gives it another go over fences.

He had a disappointing campaign last year, starting as a novice chaser but struggled over larger objects.

He ended the campaign with a few good displays back over hurdles, the main highlight coming when third behind Vision Des Flos and If The Cap Fits in Grade 2 action.

There’s no doubt the eight-year-old has the stamina to go 3m. If his jumping has improved, I think he’ll be right up there.

15:50 YORK

Across to York now for a competitive handicap over 6f and I think Michael Appleby’s DANZENO SP should have a great chance.

His form this season has been solid (1313423), with his victory at Haydock the most impressive – finishing ahead Enjazaat and  Summerghand SP.

Getting beaten by Dakota Gold in his last two outings is no shame and I do think he has a great chance to defy top weight.

Keep your eyes on Hey Jonesy SP as another each-way chance.

He’s won over course-and-distance and trainer Kevin Ryan is looking to win this race for the third year in a row.

16:10 NEWMARKET

The Cesarewitch is up next in what some deem as a ‘flat Grand National’ and, with six places up for grabs, I like two in this field.

My main fancy is Ian William’s TIME TO STUDY 20/1, who is looking for a hat-trick of wins.

His win last time out at Haydock was particularly impressive in a field of 16 over 1m 6f and I think the step up to 2m 2f could suit.

Williams had second here in 2017 with London Prize and with Cieran Fallon on board.

The other one I like is Alan King’s COEUR DE LION 20/1, who actually ran in this race last year so I’m hoping he can improve 12 months on.

He has had a fairly consistent season (21533) and put in a decent effort last time out in the Marsh Cup when behind Withold, who won the Cesarewitch in 2017.

Alan King has had some success in this race recently with Grumeti’s 50/1 win in 2015 and then First Mohican runner-up the following year. I think he’s got another good each-way shout.

16:30 CHEPSTOW

We finish off with jumps action again in a Grade 3 hurdle where I think Evan Williams’ consistent BOLD PLAN SP has a solid shout.

The five-year-old has made a great start to his career (233-12), with his only victory over odds-on favourite Southfield Stone.

He’s proven over this distance and Adam Wedge is a jockey I rate really highly so I think he’s got a big each-way chance.
