We kick things off with Group 3 action, where I think GARRUS looks the one to beat.

He’s two from two so far this year following a dominant performance at Nottingham and then a hard-fought victory in a Listed race at York. He finished ahead of Shade Of Blue and Solider’s Call there.

Proven over 5f and with James Doyle on board, I think he looks a solid bet here.

I tipped MIND THE CRACK when he won here last month and I’m going to keep faith again.

He’s another who is two from two this year and was really impressive here last time out, powering home by three lengths in a Betway-sponsored race.

The length of that victory means I have no concerns about the step up to 1m 6f and with Richard Kingscote’s record on this course, I think he’s the one to beat.

The Lancashire Oaks is up next and I’m really keen on KLASSIQUE.

This filly looks a huge prospect for William Haggas, having notched up four victories and two seconds from seven runs.

She eased to victory here last time out, beating odds-on favourite True Self by three lengths in the Betway Pinnacle Stakes.

Danny Tudhope is in the form of his life at the moment, and has a terrific strike rate when teaming up with Haggas, so I’d say this is my NAP of the day.

GO WELL SPICY has looked very solid for Mick Channon so far and I’m keen on her chances here.

After back-to-back seconds she finally got off the mark at Nottingham and has won her last two by a combined 4 ¼ lengths.

Proven over this distance, I think this grey is one to watch.
