13:35 WOLVERHAMPTON
The Lincoln Trial is up first and I think favourite FOX POWER 9/4 should get the job done.
He was only half a length behind Via Serendipity on this course last month and also tasted victory here two years ago.
A favourite hasn’t won this race since Nimr in 2017, but I’m hopeful the colt can change that.
14:10 WOLVERHAMPTON
A Betway-sponsored handicap is up next, and I like the look of WASNTEXPECTINGTHAT 9/2.
Richard Fahey’s four-year-old has some solid form coming into the race (11-212), and wasn’t far behind Gulliver who won the Sprint Trophy at York last October.
He is proven over distance and, with highly-rated Sean Davis on board, he should have a great chance.
14:55 MEYDAN
Over to Dubai now for Group 1 action and I like the chances of MATTERHORN SP here.
The five-year-old has had some solid performances for Mark Johnston, including a runner-up in a Group 2 at Leopardstown to Space Traveller, and also beat Wissahickon by seven lengths in the Betway Middle Distance Championships.
He was well-beaten by stablemate Capezzano on his first start on dirt, but I think that run leaves a lot of potential. With Mickael Barzalona in the saddle, he has a great chance.
15:05 AYR
We're finishing off at Ayr where I think THE CON MAN SP should have a strong chance in this handicap.
He has two wins and two seconds from five so far and the other I can forgive as conditions at Ascot last time out were horrendous.
He's proven over distance and also a solid jumper, so he should be right in the mix.
WIN DOUBLE
