13:50 CHELTENHAM

The first leg is a 3m3f Handicap Chase and will really take some winning.

ISCORAMA  has great form figures at Cheltenham – he’s not been out of the first three in three starts at the course and if he handles the quicker ground, he’ll be bang there.

If the rain does fall, I’d be thinking about Ramses De Teillee, who had a good season over hurdles last season and will appreciate a softer surface and a real staying test. He ran in a Grand National a couple of seasons ago and his yard do have plenty of winners at this meeting.

If things fell his way, Big River could be running on at the end of the race. He does lots wrong in his races, but he stays so well, so I do expect him to have a chance of a place.

The 'Heed Your Hunch At Betway Handicap' looks a very tricky puzzle to solve, but I’d be siding with RHUBARB , who is the most lightly-raced horse in the field.

She is improving with each run and was a good second at the course over seven furlongs last time. The drop back in trip shouldn’t be a hindrance to her either.

The Greatwood Hurdle is the feature race on the card, and I’d love to see last year’s winner HARAMBE  go well again.

His yard are in flying form and he’s clearly had this race as his target for some time. He was injured when he was brought down at Newbury in February, so you’d just hope his confidence hasn’t been too badly affected by that experience.

Paul Nicholls can do no wrong at the moment and has won this race twice in the past 10 years, both times with a four-year-old.

He saddles two this year and recent Chepstow winner Thyme White would make most appeal under Harry Cobden. He ran very well at the Festival in March and looked better than ever on his comeback run.

The second division of the ‘Heed Your Hunch At Betway Handicap’ is almost as tricky as the first.

With seven horses running from outside of the handicap, it’s better to focus on those towards the top of the field.

USTATH , who is a recent course winner, is favoured. He stuck on gamely over five furlongs here last time and shouldn’t be bothered by going up in trip to the six furlongs here.

His Jockey Tyler Heard is riding very well with a 20 per cent strike-rate in the past 14 days.
