13:50 CLONMEL

Noel Meade has had his string in fine form during the early part of the season and could have another winner in the shape of IMPATIENT PARTNER , who is the chosen mount of Mark Walsh.

The seven-year-old is lightly-raced but has run well in some of his outings, and this 3m trip is shaping up to be the making of him.

He was second and third in two points over 3m and did his best work late on at Galway last time over 2m 5f.

He looks well treated on his mark of 116 and should be hard to beat if the extra distance brings out further improvement. 

15:25 LUDLOW

This 2m 5f 55y Handicap Hurdle is a race for conditional jockeys and amateur riders. 

DON'T SHOUT  hasn’t been seen since he finished fifth here in February, but has been dropped 2lb for that run. With conditions set to suit, he could run well under Zac Baker.

I’m not sure what Merry Milan’s  optimum trip is - he seems to run in-and-out over a variety of distances - but he does have some of the best form in the race.

He is on a bit of a retrieval mission following a poor run last time but, considering his second prior to that - and his second off a mark of 122 last season - he could go well under Lily Pinchin.

15:35 CLONMEL

HOKE COLBURN was a reasonable horse when he was trained in the UK by Harry Whittington, and went on to win for Brian Barr off a mark of 106 at Huntingdon in 2018. He then backed that up with a victory at Ludlow off a mark of 111.

He is now in the care of Brian McMahon and hasn’t been out of the first four for his latest connections, including a good second at Galway last time. If he reproduces that run he shouldn’t be too far away.

15:40 SEDGEFIELD

The final race of the day at Sedgefield is a really competitive race and, after looking through the form of every runner, a case could be made for nearly all of them.

TEMPLE MAN ran really well on his first outing following a wind op and, granted he improves again, could be there at the business end of the race.

Floating Rock  bolted up last time out and can run well again, but he does have top weight to shoulder.

Any money for Kangaroo Valley  would also be telling. His trainer Phillip Kirby is flying but he may be one who’ll have more confidence behind him with more experience under his belt.
