There has been a lot to like about Flippa The Strippa SP this season and this three-year-old filly ticks plenty of boxes in this 6f sprint.
On her first run of the season she was pitched in at Royal Ascot over 5f, but clearly needed both the run and a slight drop in the handicap. She wasn’t devoid of promise, though.
She followed up that run at Goodwood when things didn’t go right but, thankfully for her connections, she was dropped 4lb in the handicap.
She ran very well when stepped back up to 6f, only narrowly getting beaten by an improving horse of Richard Hannon’s.
She was a Listed winner at two and does have enough good form in the book to warrant being backed.

Despite being beaten at a short price last time out, Kingsholm SP should be better for that experience. If he's ridden with more patience, he should take all of the beating.
He has always shaped like a typical James Fanshawe-trained horse in the way that they improve for racing and aren’t pushed too hard too early in their career.
He was successful at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start and should have enough class to see off his rivals here, most of which look largely exposed.

This 2m handicap is really competitive.
Chez Hans SP is an obvious horse to start with, as he’s the most unexposed horse who could be very well-handicapped off his opening mark of 104.
He ran in three novice hurdles last season without pulling up any trees, and has been given a lenient mark which he could well exploit.
However, he is yet to get his head in front on English soil, so it could be worth looking elsewhere.
Wakool SP ended last season with a good win at Doncaster, and is the type to improve with racing.
First Quest SP will also appreciate better ground that he faced for most of last season.

May Night SP was a well-backed winner over 7f a little over a week ago. He’s been put up 10lb for that run but he only runs with 6lb extra in this race, which means he’s essentially 4lb well in.
He clearly improved for the step up in trip last week and steps up again here. On that success last week, he’s the one to beat for Betway ambassador Andrew Balding.
The market will speak volumes in this race and I expect any support for Tricolore SP to be telling in such a wide open contest.
