13:50 Newmarket - Stowell

There were many eye-catchers at Royal Ascot, but perhaps none as big as Stowell in the Queen's Vase.

This horse may be controversial but he’s also clearly talented and, on just his third career start, he ran a cracker to finish third at the biggest meeting in the calendar.

This race isn’t as strong as his previous outing and he should take all of the beating for an in-form John and Thady Gosden team.

15:35 Newmarket - Al Aasy

Al Aasy is quickly becoming one of the highest rated horses in England.

He has been great form this season, winning both the John Porter and The Aston Park Stakes with ultimate ease, before only being narrowly beaten by Pyledriver in the Coronation Cup at Epsom on a track which wouldn’t have suited him as much as Newmarket will.

He won the Bahrain Trophy on this card 12 months ago and can win again here.

16:10 Newmarket - One Ruler (each-way)

Form figures of 667 this season don’t really tell the full story of how well One Ruler has run in the 2000 Guineas, the Derby and at Royal Ascot, and his sights are much lower here.

He was a very smart two-year-old, has run well in each start this term, and this drop back to a mile will suit him well.

The unbeaten Baaeed does look very promising and may be very tough to beat, but at the prices, I think One Ruler has very good place claims.

4 To Win selections

14:25 Newmarket - Project Dante

Unlucky at Royal Ascot but ran well to finish third. Should go close.

14:40 Carlisle - Obee Jo

Ran well over 5f on Saturday and will appreciate going back up to 6f here.

15:00 Newmarket - Spycatcher

Has run well in defeat in three latest starts, all in better company. Return to 6f should suit.

16:45 Newmarket - Dingle

Been unlucky this season and is still unexposed. Three-year-olds have a good record in this race, too.
