We begin with Group 2 action in the battle of the Fillies and Mares, where I just can't see how ENBIHAAR  gets beat.

The four-year-old has four wins from seven runs and has looked particularly impressive in her last two, claiming the Lancashire Oaks in a thrilling race before blitzing the field by five lengths in the Langtry at Glorious Goodwood.

She's got bags of stamina and will have no problems with the trip. Despite top weight, I still think she's the one to catch.

This is a wide-open handicap for the two-year-olds, and I'm going to take a punt on GLASVEGAS  .

Narrowly beaten on debut, the colt responded well with a hard-fought victory at Hamilton before a very respectable third in the Windsor Castle as a 25/1 shot.

He's been very consistent so far, and - with Keith Dalgleish having one of his best seasons - I think he's got a very good chance.

In the Lady Riders' handicap, I'm going for David O'Meara's TOMILY  .

The five-year-old has had a consistent season, notching up three wins on the bounce in July and put up a decent effort when second last time out over 5f.

He won a big handicap on this course two years ago and has Jane Elliot on board, who had a smart win with Well Funded on Wednesday.

GOOD BIRTHDAY  has looked a smart three-year-old for Andrew Balding this year and I think he's got a big chance here.

He was a very impressive third in the London Gold Cup behind Headman and Sinjaari, and won nicely last time out at Beverley, beating a strong field including the likes of Desert Icon and Dark Vision.

A course-and-distance victory by just under two lengths here in March is also a nice form boost, so hopefully he can grab a win to help Oisin Murphy close in on becoming Champion Jockey.
