This season, Betway are proud to be sponsoring Kayley Woollacott in her first full season as a National Hunt trainer.

Kayley took over the license from her husband, Richard, after he took his own life in January 2018.

Having guided their stable star, Lalor – who had twice won over hurdles at Aintree – to a debut win over fences at the Cheltenham November Meeting, they are now arriving at the 2019 Cheltenham Festival as a favourite in the latest horse racing betting for the Grade 1 Arkle Challenge Trophy.

In the third part of our video series, we talk to the breeder who first discovered Lalor in Germany and the bloodstock agent that sold him to Richard Woollacott about their early experiences of the horse.

We also talk to Kayley and fellow Betway ambassador Richard Johnson about their final Festival preparations, as well as the horse’s owner David Staddon and Kayley’s sister Steph about what it would mean to everyone involved if they could pull off the dream they set out to achieve at the start of the season.
