Wednesday is a busy day with five Flat meetings in the UK, as well as one at Sligo in the west of Ireland. We have a bet in the feature handicaps at Brighton and Sligo, plus one in a Kempton novice.

Cobalt Blue can stand out at Brighton
Down at Brighton, the feature race is the Carlsberg Danish Pilsner Brighton Mile Challenge. This looks competitive with the improved Youarenotforgiven on a three-timer.
However, all his best form has come on conventional tracks and there is enough of a doubt about him handling this circuit to oppose him.
The Roger Varian-trained COBALT BLUE is an interesting alternative. Though still a maiden, he has run well in defeat numerous times, including at Epsom last time out in a 7f handicap, his second good run at that track.
He then should be at home at this similarly configured venue, while the step up to 1m should also suit, so he can score under Jack Mitchell.
No Niki No looks value
The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Connacht Oaks is the feature race on the Sligo card and it has a very open look to it.
The Jim Bolger-trained Golden Spangle registered a hard-fought win in a Naas handicap on Monday evening but this run might come too soon after. Joseph O'Brien's Perfect Portrait has run well in Group 3 and Listed company, so is high on the list of potentials but the value bet is NO NIKI NO .
Trained by Eoghan O'Neill, this mare moved with him when he relocated from France and won a 1m1f handicap at Leopardstown on her second start in Ireland. She has run well in defeat on her two subsequent starts but the step up in trip today on this tight track should suit as she has winning form over 1m4f in France.
She should be an attractive each-way price under Declan McDonogh.
Let Life Happen to get off the mark
There are four novice races amongst the seven-race card at Kempton but with plenty of well-bred newcomers emerging in the two-year-old races, they are best avoided until the markets take more shape.
The Unibet 3 Uniboosts a Day Novice Stakes for three-year-old fillies holds more appeal for betting purposes.
The bet looks to be LET LIFE HAPPEN (SP), trained by Sir Michael Stoute. She was runner-up over this course and distance on debut before again finishing second in a Carlisle maiden over the same trip.
The winner of that contest, Fifth Harmonic, re-opposes but has to give our selection 7lb and will find that a difficult task. The return to this surface will likely suit the beautifully-bred Let Life Happen and Richard Kingscote's mount can get off the mark.
