NAYEF ROAD 5/2 has been sensational since the restart of racing and I think he is the one to beat here.
A victory in the Betway Sagaro Stakes was followed by two extraordinary efforts behind Stradivarius at Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood.
That’s the strongest form in this field so I think the colt should be able to take this Group 2.

We’ve another Group 2 next where I’m backing the in-form combination of William Haggas and Tom Marquand to continue their streak with YAZAMAN 4/1.
A tidy win on debut has been followed up with a hat-trick of seconds – two of which were behind Tactical and the other behind Supremacy in the Richmond Stakes.
I really like the look of this two-year-old and think he’ll get back to winning ways here.

Battaash 7/1.
The 2019 Norfolk Stakes winner had a tough end to the season last year but has looked very good in his last two with successes in a Group 2 and 3.
Finishing over a length ahead of his nearest rivals in both those races suggests that he’s a proper Group 1 horse, and could he cause an upset here.

There are two I like in the final handicap of the day.
The first is another for the Simon and Ed Crisford team in FINEST SOUND 5/1.
The three-year-old boasts some incredibly consistent form (333-123), which includes a dominant display at Haydock and two eye-catching finishes behind Palace Pier last season and Khaloosy in the Britannia Stakes.
Proven over the mile, he should be right in the mix.
The other each-way shout I like is Andrew Balding’s MON CHOIX 16/1.
He’s won his last two by a combined distance of 12 lengths after annihilating the field at Windsor and Sandown.
Proven over this distance, nicely handicapped and with Oisin Murphy on board, this looks a big price.
