Here are Jack Green's five NFL tips to consider for Thursday night's Week 10 clash between the Los Angeles Chargers and Oakland Raiders.

Raiders to win

This should be an even game so it’s worth backing the Raiders, who are slight underdogs despite their home advantage.

Oakland are 4-4 this season after beating the Detroit Lions last week, and the four teams they’ve lost to look almost certain to make the playoffs.

The Chargers caused an upset against the Green Bay Packers last week, but defeats against the Tennessee Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos in October prove they are not to be trusted.

Melvin Gordon under 49.5 rushing yards

Gordon had his best game of the season last week, rushing for 80 yards on 20 carries in the win over the Packers.

Most of those yards, however, came in the fourth quarter as the Chargers fed him constantly to run the clock down. He had only six rushes for 14 yards at half time.

Gordon won’t get anywhere near as many carries if the Chargers fail to establish an early lead on Thursday night, so this looks a good bet given that he was yet to pass 32 rushing yards in a game before last Sunday.

Mike Williams over 59.5 receiving yards

Williams caught three passes for 111 yards last week, meaning he’s now had at least 69 yards in four of his last five games.

The deep threat looks primed for another big night against a Raiders defence that has allowed the fourth-most receiving yards of any team this season.

Mike Williams to score a touchdown

Williams has still yet to find the endzone this season, which is remarkable given that he tallied 10 touchdowns last year.

It’s only a matter of time before the 25-year-old scores for the first time, and this is a good price given that Oakland have allowed 22 receiving touchdowns, the second-most of any team.

Josh Jacobs to score 2+ touchdowns

When Jacobs scores, he scores twice. The rookie running back has only found the endzone in three games this season, but doubled up with a second touchdown in all three.

The 21-year-old is the clear focal point of the Raiders’ offense and was given a season-high 28 carries last week, meaning he’s now had an incredible 98 touches in his last four games.
