Here are Jack Green's five NFL tips to consider for Thursday night's Thanksgiving clash between the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons.

New Orleans Saints to win

The Saints lost to the Falcons just three weeks ago in a stunning upset, but that can be considered a blip as they’ve since beaten the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers to move to 9-2 for the season.

The Falcons lost to the Buccaneers last week to fall to 3-8, and they’ve now lost four successive home games.

Over 48.5 points

Atlanta have been terrible defensively all season, conceding the fifth-most points of any team in the NFL and allowing 27 or more on seven occasions.

The Saints’ defence is great but they’ve been surprisingly generous in the past few weeks, conceding 31 points against the Panthers last Sunday and 26 to Atlanta in Week 10.

Devonta Freeman under 45.5 rushing yards

Freeman faces a stiff test in his return from a foot injury, with the Saints having the league’s best rush defence.

The running back has only gained over 40 yards in two of his nine starts this season, so it’s hard to see him having a big game on Thursday night.

Calvin Ridley over 70.5 receiving yards

Ridley has averaged 114 yards per game over the past two weeks, and should again put up big numbers against a team he’s had success against in the past.

He has gained 93 yards or more in two of his three games against New Orleans, including a 143-yard, three-touchdown performance in Atlanta last year.

Jared Cook to score a touchdown

Cook has become a huge part of the Saints’ offense in recent weeks, particularly near the goal line.

The tight end has caught a touchdown in four of his last five games and saw eight targets last week, including three in the red zone.
