Here are Jack Green's five NFL tips to consider for Thursday night's game between the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens.

Baltimore Ravens (-16.5)

This should be a straightforward win for the Ravens.

Baltimore have averaged 34.2 points per game over the last six weeks and have been just as dominant defensively, allowing an average of just 13.3 points against.

The Jets have won four of their last five games but have been on a kind run of fixtures, and a one-point victory over the Miami Dolphins hardly suggests they can trouble the Ravens.

Jets to score under 14 points

The Jets rank fourth-bottom in the NFL in points per game, and now face one of the league’s best defences.

Baltimore have held their last five opponents to 17 points or fewer, conceding just six to the Los Angeles Rams and seven to the Houston Texans.

Le’Veon Bell under 49.5 rushing yards

Bell missed last week’s game against the Miami Dolphins through illness and will be in for a tough night upon his return.

The Ravens have allowed just 1,072 rushing yards to running backs this season, the eighth-fewest in the league, and the Jets will likely go behind early on Thursday night and be forced to throw the ball.

Lamar Jackson over 63.5 rushing yards

Jackson has averaged 78 rushing yards per game this season, and the MVP frontrunner could have another big game against the Jets.

New York have been tough on opposing running backs and will likely shut down Mark Ingram, meaning Jackson will be expected to carry more of the load.

Robbie Anderson over 53.5 receiving yards

Anderson has been much more involved in the Jets’ offense over the past few weeks. He’s had seven catches and over 100 receiving yards in both his last two games.

With tight end Ryan Griffin unlikely to play with an ankle injury, Anderson should see even more targets on Thursday night.
