Here are Jack Green's four NFL tips to consider for Thursday night's game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns.

Cleveland Browns to win

The Browns were beaten 38-6 by the Baltimore Ravens last week, but they were facing one of the NFL’s best teams and should bounce back against the Bengals, who lost to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

Rookie quarterback Joe Burrow was solid for Cincinnati in that defeat, but now faces a difficult away trip on a shortened week and will likely suffer from the lack of preparation time.

Under 43.5 total points

The Browns’ passing offense struggled so badly last Sunday that it’s hard to imagine them putting up many points even against a bad defence like Cincinnati’s. With quarterback Baker Mayfield playing poorly, Cleveland will likely try to control the ball with their running game on Thursday night.

The Bengals were held to just 13 points at home to the Chargers on Sunday night and averaged just 16.4 per game on the road last season.

Baker Mayfield under 239.5 passing yards

Mayfield averaged 221 passing yards per game last season and threw for just 189 yards last week.

With two excellent running backs at their disposal and a quarterback clearly having problems with accuracy, expect Cleveland to focus on the running game this week and take the ball out of Mayfield’s hands.

Kareem Hunt over 45.5 rushing yards

Hunt is Cleveland’s second-string running back, but he actually had more rushing attempts than starter Nick Chubb last Sunday and gained 72 yards on the ground.

The Bengals gave up 155 rushing yards last week, which was the fifth-most of any team, so this should be another opportunity for Hunt to impress.
