Here are Jack Green's four NFL tips to consider for Thursday night's game between the Denver Broncos and New York Jets.

Under 41 points

This game is shaping up to be the biggest display of offensive incompetence since Donald Trump debated Joe Biden on Tuesday night.

The Jets have been awful this season, scoring 17 points or fewer in all three of their games for a combined total of just 37.

Denver have also struggled to score, averaging 15 points per game so far, and will be led by backup quarterback Brett Rypien making his first NFL start on Thursday night.

A defensive/special teams touchdown to be scored

Jets quarterback Sam Darnold has thrown four interceptions in three games this season, including two that were returned for touchdowns against the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday.

Rypien replaced Jeff Driskel in the fourth quarter for the Broncos last week and threw an interception on his only drive, so there’s a decent chance of the Jets’ defence scoring this week.

Melvin Gordon over 62.5 rushing yards

Gordon ran for over 70 yards in each of his first two games this season before being bottled up by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ excellent run defence last week.

With the Broncos likely to keep the ball out of Rypien’s hands as much as possible, Gordon should have another big night.

Frank Gore over 14.5 rushing attempts

Like the Broncos, the Jets will likely look to take pressure off their quarterback on Thursday night by focusing on the run game.

Gore has had at least 15 carries in each of the two games since he replaced the injured Le’Veon Bell in New York’s starting line-up.
