Here are Jack Green's four NFL tips to consider for Thursday night's game between the Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jacksonville Jaguars (-3)

The Jaguars impressed with a 27-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts in week 1 before being edged out 33-30 in a tough away game against the Tennessee Titans last Sunday.

Jacksonville quarterback Gardner Minshew has been excellent so far this season and should lead his team to a comfortable home win over the 0-2 Dolphins on Thursday night.

Over 48 points

Jacksonville have scored 27 and 30 points in their two games so far, and shouldn’t have much trouble moving the ball against a Miami defence that conceded 31 points to the Buffalo Bills.

Miami did put up 28 against the Bills’ solid defence last week, though, so they should also contribute plenty towards passing this total.

Gardner Minshew over 269.5 passing yards

Minshew has been brilliant so far this season, averaging 256 passing yards per game while throwing for six touchdowns and two interceptions. In week 1, he threw just one incomplete pass on 20 attempts.

The moustachioed quarterback should have a monster game against a Miami defence that has conceded the seventh-most passing yards of any team this season, despite having faced two QBs that like to run the ball in Cam Newton and Josh Allen.

Mike Gesicki over 51.5 receiving yards

Gesicki gained just 30 yards on three catches in week 1, but bounced back with a monster 130-yard game against the Bills last week in which he also scored a touchdown.

The third-year tight end looks poised for another big night against Jacksonville, who have allowed 198 receiving yards to tight ends so far this season, the most of any team.
