Here are Jack Green's four NFL tips to consider for Monday night's game between the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs.
Kansas City Chiefs (-10.5)
The Chiefs are coming off an impressive 34-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens last week and now face a Patriots team whose preparation for this game has been dramatically affected by starting quarterback Cam Newton’s positive Covid-19 test.
The Patriots are travelling to Kansas City on the day of the game and will start backup quarterback Brian Hoyer, so it’s hard to see them keeping up with the red-hot Chiefs.
Under 19 New England Patriots points
Having held their last three opponents to exactly 20 points, the Chiefs should do an even better job stopping the Patriots on Monday night.
With Hoyer starting at quarterback for New England, Kansas City should be able to focus on shutting down the Patriots’ running game.
Tyreek Hill over 65.5 receiving yards
Hill has averaged 74 receiving yards per game this season, and has passed this mark in two of the three weeks so far.
The speedy receiver looks poised for a big day against the Patriots, who struggled against deep passes in their defeat to the Seattle Seahawks in week 2.
N’Keal Harry over 3.5 receptions
The Patriots are likely to fall behind early on, which should mean plenty of pass attempts in the second half.
Harry has had 15 catches on 22 targets in three games so far, and could see even more volume with top receiver Julian Edelman nursing a knee injury.
