Buffalo Bills to beat Cincinnati Bengals –

The Bills’ defence has been excellent so far this season, allowing an average of 13.5 points per game – the lowest in the NFL.

Last week they travelled to Atlanta and beat the reigning NFC champions, conceding just 17 against one of the league’s most dynamic offenses.

Few teams have the firepower to compete with Buffalo’s defence at the moment, and their offense has done just enough over the past four weeks to win three games.

Expect another victory against the Bengals, whose win over the lowly Cleveland Browns last week was their first of the season.

Cincinnati’s offense is the sixth-worst in the NFL, and was shut out entirely against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1.

Detroit Lions to beat Carolina Panthers –

The Lions beat the Minnesota Vikings on the road last weekend to move to 3-1 for the season, and are in reality just a yard short of being undefeated.

Their strong start should continue at home to the Carolina Panthers, who are also 3-1 after upsetting the New England Patriots in Foxborough.

Carolina scored 33 points against the Patriots’ woeful defence, but will struggle to put up similar numbers against a Detroit unit that has allowed the fourth-fewest points per game this season.

The Lions have picked off seven passes this year – the second-most in the NFL – and could have a field day against Cam Newton, who threw three interceptions against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3.

Detroit won six of their eight home games last season, while Carolina lost six of eight on the road, so a victory for the hosts looks a safe bet.

Philadelphia Eagles to beat Arizona Cardinals –

The Eagles have made an impressive start to the season, winning three in four despite playing on the road three times, and their only defeat came against the undefeated Chiefs in Kansas City.

In the Redskins, Giants and Chargers, they’ve beaten three opponents who are arguably better than the team they will face on Sunday.

The Cardinals are 2-2 this season having scraped past both the Indianapolis Colts, who were missing star quarterback Andrew Luck, and the San Francisco 49ers, who might be the worst team in the NFL.

Arizona have scored just 18.5 points per game despite facing a couple of terrible defences, and that just won’t cut it against an Eagles team that is averaging 25.8 points.

Philadelphia are a great home team, with six of their seven wins last season coming at Lincoln Financial Field, and it’s hard to imagine them failing to earn another victory on Sunday evening.

Los Angeles Rams to beat Seattle Seahawks –

The Seahawks crushed the Colts last Monday night, but that doesn’t change the fact that they are incapable of protecting the quarterback.

Russell Wilson was under pressure throughout Seattle’s opening three games of the season, and he now faces a defensive line that has sacked him 39 times in 10 meetings.

Los Angeles’ defensive front has been as formidable as ever this season, with 12 sacks so far – the joint-third most in the league.

The Rams are averaging 35.5 points per game and have been the league’s best offensive team so far this season, so they should be able to outgun a Seahawks offense that will be consistently beaten at the line of scrimmage.
