New York Giants at New Orleans Saints (-7) 

This is a bad spot for the Giants. Not only have they lost a number of starting offensive linemen from the preseason’s worst-ranked unit, they may also be without wide receivers Darius Slayton and Sterling Shepard. Defensively, they lost their middle linebacker Blake Martinez, which is a massive loss.

On top of the losses, they will head to the Superdome that will be packed for the very first time since pre-COVID. It will be a hostile environment, which the Saints will take advantage of.

Kansas City Chiefs (-6.5) at Philadelphia Eagles   

This is a get-right game for the Chiefs, who somehow find themselves at the bottom of their division. Along with being desperate for a much-needed win, this would be Andy Reid’s 100th as head coach for the Chiefs. How fitting is it that it will come against his former team?

The Eagles looked completely lost last week against the Cowboys, and it will happen again on Sunday. The Chiefs have too many weapons on offense for Philadelphia to contain them, and they should be able to get pressure on Jalen Hurts as well.

Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos (-1) 

The Ravens are coming off a week in which they struggled with the Detroit Lions. If we remember what happened in their only loss of the season, the offensive line was getting embarrassed by Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby. No offense to Crosby, but if he can do that, imagine what kind of day Von Miller will have.

Offensively, the Broncos still have plenty of talent, despite the losses at wide receiver. They should continue to lead a methodical, effective offense that gets the job done at home.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-6.5) at New England Patriots 

The game of the week will certainly be an exciting one. Well, at least until kickoff.

Yes, Bill Belichick is a genius and knows the Buccaneers’ offense inside and out, since it’s nearly all of his concepts. However, the Patriots are so mismatched from a talent point of view that it’s not close to funny.

Tom Brady will head into Foxboro, get the win and steal the headlines. It may be closer than it should be, but it should be greater than a one-score win.
